Sulamita Pyvovar, a 21-year-old Ukrainian pianist, is currently studying with Professor Lance Coburn at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She received her early training at the Donetsk Regional Specialized Music School for Gifted Children and later at the Lviv State Musical Lyceum. She continued her studies at the Lviv National Music Academy before relocating to lreland in 2022 due to the full-scale Russian invasion.
Sulamita has performed as a soloist with the Lviv National Symphony Orchestra and the Khmelnytsky Regional Philharmonic Orchestra, playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. She has won awards in national and international competitions across Ukraine, Poland,Slovakia, Turkey, the Netherlands, France, and Ireland.
In 2025, she was awarded the Lucien and Maura Teissier Scholarship and won the Hibernian Orchestra Concerto Competition, performing Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3. Her performances include an appearance on the main stage of the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
