Soo-Jung Ann, Pianist
Pianist Soo-Jung Ann established herself as a formidable presence on the global stage following her First Prize wins at the 58th Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona (2012) and the 5th International Telekom Beethoven Competition in Bonn (2013).
She has appeared as a soloist with world-class ensembles, including the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Madrid Symphony, Kraków Philharmonic, Tokyo Universal Philharmonic, KBS Symphony, and RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra. Her performances have graced prestigious venues such as the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn,
Konzerthaus in Vienna, and Salle Cortot in Paris, earning critical acclaim for her interpretive depth and technical mastery. Her Naxos recording of Soler Sonatas (2018) remains a testament to her refined artistry and scholarly approach to the repertoire.
A graduate of the Korean National University of Arts and the Mozarteum Salzburg, Ann earned her Doctor of Music from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2022. Currently based in Ireland, she delivers deeply resonant performances in both solo and chamber music settings. In 2026, she is further expanding her creative scope as an artistic programmer, directing and performing in projects such as "Fairytale Concerts" and "Disney Ensemble Projects" to reach a broader audience. Alongside her performance career, she contributes to her alma mater through performance
coaching for emerging musicians, sharing the wealth of insight gained from her extensive international career.
