Piano Duo de Vero-Campisi was established in 2006.

Despite the unusual geographical location of the two pianists, Aldo de Vero lives and teaches in Naples, while Giuseppe Campisi lives and teaches in Avola, Sicily, the Duo has so far held an extraordinary number of concerts in Italy, in various European cities, as well as with State Orchestras in Romania, and further afield in America and Canada.

The unifying element that nullifies the physical distance between the two pianists is the perfect understanding that immediately manifested itself from their very first performances. The Duo has in their repertoire almost all the repertoire for piano for four hands and for two pianos.

The versatility and cultural curiosities of the two interpreters have meant that composers like Gianfranco Gioia , Rosario Fronte and the Norwegian Arnt Hakon Anesen wanted to write the new works for them.

The duo recorded a live CD with which they embarked on a European tour that saw the them perform with great success at the RAI in Palermo, Cremona TV 1, St. Martin in the Fields, London, St. Giles Cathedral and Edinburgh Society of Musicians, Edinburgh, St. Ann's Church and Italian Cultural Institute, Dublin, Ateliér de la Main d'Or, Paris, Italian Cultural Institute, New York and Toronto.
