About the Event
Lorenzo Masotto is an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer from Verona.
With a classical background from the Conservatory of Verona, Lorenzo has blended his classical foundation with influences from rock, jazz, and contemporary music, creating a unique and deeply evocative style. He will present his latest album, Earde, released by the UK based label Whitelabrecs. Inspired by his journeys through Iceland, the Dolomites, and Lessinia, Earde tells stories of breathtaking landscapes and universal emotions through stirring piano compositions. Lorenzo, who has already captivated audiences across Europe and the United States, will bring Earde on tour throughout Europe, offering listeners an intense and immersive musical experience.
His career includes seven albums distributed by international labels such as Dronarivm, Preserved Sound, Lady Blunt, Sonder House, Whitelabrecs, and Moderna Records. He has collaborated with renowned institutions, directing the experimental project "Le Maschere di Clara" and the polyphonic choir "Voce dei Colli." His music has featured in internationally, including the soundtrack for "Giulia" by Carlo Perassi, which received global awards, as well as a documentary film presented at the Toronto Film Festival and also music for the contemporary dance technique "Graham".
