Amici Trio formed in 2021. Catriona Ryan is Flute Section Leader of the National Symphony Orchestra and has previously been Principal Flautist with many other esteemed orchestras such as the BBC Philarhamonic and Royal Northern Sinfonia. She is a founding member of Cassiopeia Wind Quintet. Martin Johnson is Cello Section Leader of the National Symphony Orchestra and has previously been Principal Cellist with World Philharmonic, Ulster, BBC Scottish Symphony, amongst many others. A regular soloist in concerto with various ensembles such as NSO, Wexford Sinfonia, and Hibernian Orchestra, he is also a member of Concorde Contemporary Music Ensemble. Aileen Cahill is a collaborative pianist studying in Dublin, where she is currently a DMus Research Scholar at TU Dublin Conservatoire and Scholar-in-Residence at the Contemporary Music Centre. A member of Duo Anima, she is a regular soloist in concerto with Sligo Baroque Orchestra, as conductor, as well as Greystones Symphony Orchestra, Irish Youth Wind Ensemble, and Budweis Philharmonic.
