A native of Minnesota in the United States, soprano ABIGAIL LADUKE earned her Bachelor of Music degree at Concordia College under Dr. Holly Janz and Stephen Sulich and currently studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under Kathleen Tynan and Dr. Andrew Synnott.

She made her Irish debut singing the role of Monique in the RIAM/IADT’s production of Elizabeth Maconchy’s The Sofa and performed in Dominic Argento’s Postcard from Morocco in March 2024 as the Lady with a Hand Mirror.

She made her United Kingdom debut with a Historical Performance Recital with RIAM at Hatchlands Park in May 2024. She is immensely grateful to have received the 2022 BVOF/John Pollard Bursary and the 2023 Dublin ChamberFest Prize alongside pianist Ella Nagy.

LANYI YAN is a 25-year-old soprano who is finishing her Mater of Music Performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM). She is nominated as an 1848 scholar and going to study the Recital Artist in RIAM in the year of 2024-2025 with scholarships. She has learnt from Sylvia O’Brien, Sylvia O’Regan and Dearbhla Collins.

Lanyi has undertaken notable roles in various opera productions. Notable performances include the role of Le Compte Barigoule in Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon, Sirena in Francesca Caccini’s La Liberazione di Ruggiero dall’isola d’Alcina, and Maura Remond in Stephen McNeff’s Spirits Unsurrendered, all as a principal cast. She also casted the role of Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore and Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte in the opera scenes. She has been nominated to cooperate with the Erasmus Orchestra and sing the Norina’s aria: Quel guardo il cavaliere composed by Donizetti in September. Beyond the academy, Lanyi has been a distinguished Soprano soloist in various cantatas, concertos, and choral works, collaborating with renowned ensembles in Tianjin, China, and Dublin, Ireland. Notable works include Bach’s Cantata No.199, Handel’s Gloria in excelsis Deo, Ravel’s Chansons madécasses, Fauré’s Requiem. She is the choral scholar in the Whitefriar St. Church, Dublin. She has performed various repertoire in Adelaide Road Church, Christ Church Dublin, Whitefriar St. Church, National Art Gallery, Project Art Centre, Hugh Lane Gallery, Samuel Beckett Theatre, and Whyte Recital Hall in Dublin. Her characteristic and expressive performance has been earning accolades and recognition.
